Since 1928, C.A.I.R. S.A. one of the biggest wine industries in Greece, concentrates its activities, in the production and trade of Rodian wines and creates products of excellent quality, that were awarded with many international distinctions.

With an annual production capacity of more than 7,000,000 litres, C.A.I.R.offers today a full series of bottled wines in a great variety of tastes aiming at covering the needs of the modern professional. The natural sparkling wines of Rodos, that have made C.A.I.R. famous, are surrounded now by many other, selected wines, table wines, local and controlled appelation of origin. The vineyards of the producers of C.A I.R. cover the central and western mountainous areas of Rodos.

Their altitude, soil and orientation in combination with the multiple microclimates of the island, favor the production of small quantities of excellent quality grapes. Our aim is to make known, through the local and international vine varieties that thrive on our island, the special characteristics of the vineyards of Rodos, as they are expressed through wine.

The grape-harvest in Rodos, begins around the end of August, from the valley vineyards and is completed at the end of September with grapes from the mountainous vineyards of Attaviros, Sianna and Monolithos, using strict criteria and with the precious island's producers.

When the Gods of Olympus gave away the treasures of the world, Rodos was given as a bride to God Helios. From this age long relation, between Helios and Rodos, we recognize, every year the fruit of this union, in the excellent wines of CAIR that please our heart.
