Assyrtiko Boutari rounds off the Greek wine varieities. Made from the variety whose name it shares, the Assyrtiko is one of the most notable wines of the Mediterranean and the dominant indigenous variety on the island of Santorini.
REGION: Selected vineyards in Pyrgos and Megalochri, at an altitude of up to 360m.
VARIETY: Assyrtiko.
TYPE: White, dry.
CHARACTERISTICS: Pale gold in colour. Fruity aroma. Smooth, oily and full - bodied.
FOOD PAIRING: Lobster, crayfish, fish and grilled meat.
