The Naoussa Grande Reserve, which has always been identified with Boutari, is one of the Winery`s first and best-known wines. In fact, it is the first Greek red wine to introduce the designation of limited and controlled production among Greek wines. This fine red wine has been awarded six distinctions at prestigious international competitions.
REGION: Naoussa.
VARIETY: Xinomavro.
TYPE: Red, dry.
AGING: Aged two years in French oak barrels and another two in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS: Subtle aroma of dried fruit that also gives off a woody scent. Robust wine with body characterised by an abundance of mature tannins.
FOOD PAIRING: Game, red meat and sharp cheeses.
